By accessing our website, requesting a quote, purchasing an insurance policy, or using any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients who access or use our services, including both corporate and individual policyholders.

02 — Description of Services

Max-Shield Insurance Agency provides comprehensive insurance brokerage services, including but not limited to:

  • Corporate and commercial insurance solutions
  • Personal and family protection plans
  • Marine and logistics insurance
  • Risk assessment and advisory services
  • Claims management and support

All services are subject to the terms and conditions specified in your individual policy documents and any applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Singapore.

03 — Client Obligations

As our client, you are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information when applying for insurance coverage or requesting our services. This duty of utmost good faith (uberrimae fidei) is fundamental to the insurance contract.

You agree to:

  • Disclose all material facts relevant to your insurance application
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Report claims in a timely and accurate manner

Failure to meet these obligations may result in denial of coverage, policy cancellation, or voidance of your insurance contract.

04 — Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. Information collected during our engagement is used solely for the purpose of providing insurance services, risk assessment, and claims administration.

05 — Limitation of Liability

Max-Shield Insurance Agency operates as an insurance broker, not an insurer. Our liability is limited to the professional services we provide in arranging and administering your insurance coverage.

We are not liable for the financial solvency of any insurance company, nor for claims denied by insurers based on policy terms. Our professional indemnity insurance is maintained in accordance with Monetary Authority of Singapore requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total commission received for the specific policy or service in question during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

06 — Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Max-Shield Insurance Agency, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.

07 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

We are committed to resolving disputes amicably. Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage clients to contact us directly to seek a mutually satisfactory resolution.

08 — Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or industry standards. Material changes will be notified to active clients via email and posted on this page with an updated revision date.
